Audi A6 E-Tron
- Segment: Mid-size sedan
- Powertrain: Audi is planning single- and dual-motor variants of the A6 E-Tron, meaning rear- and all-wheel drive. In the unveiling of the Audi A6 E-Tron concept, Audi showed off the two-motor AWD setup, which delivers 469 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.
- Range: Expect a range north of 300 miles here in the U.S. on the EPA cycle.
- Style: Similar to the current A6 sedan, but with a more aerodynamic and sleeker body.The A6 will have a fastback roofline in place of other A6’s conventional three-box design
- Interior: Expected to be spacious and luxurious, with advanced technology features like a large touchscreen display and augmented reality heads-up display. Audi officials say that the A6 E-Tron will have more passenger space due to the inherent packaging advantages of an electric powertrain.
Audi Q6 E-Tron
- Segment: Compact luxury Crossover SUV
- Powertrain: The Q6 will feature a powerful 800-volt electrical system for faster charging, same as the A6 e-tron. Audi will release an all-wheel-drive version making 375 horsepower whic is predicted to hit 0 to 60mph under six seconds. Audi has also suggested that there is potential for a high-performance SQ6 e-tron version exceeding 500 horsepower.
- Range: Estimated around 325miles, depending on model and configuration.
- Style: A modern and sporty SUV design, distinct from the existing Q5 and Q7.
- Interior: Spacious and luxurious, with similar advanced technology features as the A6 e-tron. The Q6 will feature a panoramic display that consists of an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch infotainment system.
Electric Ford Explorer
- Segment: Mid-size SUV
- Powertrain: Ford has stated that it will be offered in rear-wheel-drive (single-motor) and all-wheel-drive (dual-motor) setups. If Ford retains VW’s motor underpinnings, then we can expect the Explorer to follow the same output as the VW ID.4 model which offers 58-kWh and 77-kWh battery packs. So the Explorer EV could make 200 horsepower in RWD form and 300 horsepower in AWD form.
- Range: There is no word on the driving range however, since the VW ID.4’s range tops out at 275 miles, it is safe to assume that ford will at the very least reveal a base level model around that range.
- Style: The Explorer EV will ride on Volkswagen’s BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) platform while having a front end design inspired by the Mustang Mach-E. Nevertheless, it is expected to retain the Explorer’s rugged character while incorporating sleek, modern elements.
- Interior: Spacious and practical, potentially featuring advanced technology and connectivity features. The cabin features sport front seats, heated and massaging front seats, a heated steering wheel, and multi-zone automatic climate control.
Mercedes EQG
- Segment: Full-size luxury SUV
- Powertrain: Mercedes-Benz has not revealed what fans can expect in terms of performance, but based on its current AMG EQ applications, there is some speculation that the EV will churn out 600+ horsepower. Mercedes has confirmed the EQG will pack a quad-motor system.
- Range: The electrified G-Wagon is also anticipated to have a range of over 300 miles.
- Style: Large, yet familiar Box-style shape with a luxurious and futuristic design aesthetic.
- Interior: Spacious and opulent, featuring advanced technology and luxury amenities.
Mini Cooper Electric E
- Segment: Subcompact hatchback
- Powertrain: The Cooper Electric will be offered in two variants: E and SE, with the entry-level version getting a 181-hp electric motor and the upgraded model getting juiced to 215 horsepower. Both are front-wheel drive and it’s not clear yet whether the U.S. market will get both, or just the more powerful SE.
- Range: EPA estimate of 114 miles of range on a fully charged battery.
- Style: Retains the classic MINI Cooper design but with sharper lines and modern details. Mini has even confirmed plans for a revived John Cooper Works performance edition.
- Interior: Upgraded with a digital instrument cluster and a new central OLED touchscreen infotainment system that provides crisp graphics and a customizable appearance. For example, users can upload their own photos to the system to create unique backgrounds. To give the car more of a premium feel, a fabric-lined dashboard carefully hides LEDs that provide ambient lighting that will change based on which drive mode the car is in.
Mini Countryman EV
- Segment: Compact SUV
- Platform: Same new electric platform as the MINI Cooper Electric E
- Powertrain: Dual-motor all-wheel-drive, a combination good for 308 horsepower output. With the dual-motor powertrain, 60 mph arrives in a claimed 5.6 seconds.
- Range: Official estimates for the driving range of the Countryman S E All4 have not be officially revealed, but it has been speculated that it will offer about 269 miles of driving per charge.
- Style: Blends the classic Countryman design with modern, electric-vehicle-inspired elements.
- Interior: Spacious and practical, featuring the same upgraded technology as the MINI Cooper Electric E.
Polestar 3
- Segment: Mid-size electric SUV
- Powertrain: Long Range Dual-motor setup with 487 horsepower and 620 lb-ft torque, 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds. Also available in a Performance Pack variant with 517 horsepower and 671 lb-ft torque, achieving 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds. The Performance Pack also includes performance-optimized suspension, 22-inch wheels laced with Pirelli P-Zero tires, and additional Swedish gold accents.
- Range: 250 miles to 320 miles depending on the model variant.
- Style: Bold and distinctive Scandinavian design, aerodynamically optimized for efficiency.
- Interior: Coined as “Scandanavian Minimalism”, Polestar is designed with sustainable-focused interior appointments that includes“bio-attributed MicroTech upholstery, animal welfare-certified leather and a fully traceable wool upholstery. Upfront, a big, beautiful 14.5-inch center display graces the driver and their passenger occupants when getting inside the vehicle. In the rear there exist 17.1 cubic feet of storage behind the second row, including 3.2 cubic feet under the floor. With the rear seats folded down, cargo capacity expands to 49.8 cubic feet.
Polestar 4
- Segment: Mid-size electric SUV coupe
- Powertrain: Expected to offer both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options, with power outputs likely ranging from 272 horsepower with 252 lb-ft of torque, to 544 horsepower with 505 lb-ft of torque.
- Range: Estimated to exceed 300 miles with the single-motor rear-wheeled drive variant.
- Style: Sleek and coupe-like design, distinct from the Polestar 3 with a focus on agility and maneuverability.
- Interior: Expected to inherit the “Scandanavian minimalist” and sophisticated approach of the Polestar 3, potentially with additional tech features such as, a roof-mounted rearview camera and a display inside instead of a rearview camera due to not having a rear window.
Porsche Macan EV
- Segment: Compact electric SUV
- Powertrain: It has been reported that all electric Macan models will be all-wheel drive from launch, deploying an electric motor on each axle, with Turbo models using a a more robust rear motor and electronic differential for precise handling and traction benefits. Performance variants will include:
- Macan E 430 hp
- Macan 4S 500 hp
- Macan Turbo 600 hp+
- A cheaper single-motor offering could be added later in the car’s lifecycle depending on demand.
- Range: Estimated around 325 miles using a large battery pack of around 100 kWh.
- Style: Retains the sporty and dynamic Macan design but with futuristic EV elements.
- Interior: Expected to be luxurious and tech-forward, featuring Porsche’s signature driving-focused ergonomics.
